Help us become one of the top Science Olympiad teams in New York State

Our Vision

We firmly believe that as a team, we have the potential to be one of the top teams in the State. Given that we got 19th in States this year, achieving this goal will require a coordinated and strategic effort.

Team Dedication

This process will require dedication and determination from our members, Event Managers, and Subject Directors. We're reclassifying subjects based on skill sets and improving our learning structure.

Leadership Positions Available

Subject Directors (SD)

8 Positions Available

Lead Academic Excellence

Subject Directors are responsible for mastering event content and teaching all events in their subject. This requires excellent communication and leadership skills.

Lead: 5-8 team members per subject

Deadline: Monday, June 2nd at 11:59 PM

Interview: June 3rd-4th (if selected)

Engineering (1 SD) Earth Science (2 SDs) Research (1 SD) Biology (2 SDs) Chemistry & Inquiry (2 SDs)

Event Managers (EM)

23 Positions Available

Facilitate Team Activities

Event Managers are responsible for developing comprehensive knowledge of their event and creating engaging activities while working under SD supervision.

Role: 1 EM per event (23 total events)

Deadline: Sunday, June 8th at 11:59 PM

Focus: Personal connections & activities

Key Responsibilities:

Getting to know members on a personal level
Creating meeting activities and competitions
Facilitating learning and practice sessions
Organizing team logistics and materials
